Designed by the architectural studios of Gerald S. Yurk & Associates of Rochester, the Bistro displays a trendy, but comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Our large dining area seats 180. It is divided by an interior court created by stylish circular walls that are open at the top, and a cozy bar at the entrance.

We have tables that offer a sense of privacy and intimacy, and others that are open and airy allowing our guests to check out the action. Settings include crisp, white table linens and are accented by cobalt-blue water glasses, and a selection from our fine wine collection. You will enjoy the clean elegance of the black iron and honey maple chairs, the textured fresco-style walls, and soft lighting in our seating nooks.

We offer wood-accented booths for private conversations, tables for larger groups, and nooks with quiet tables for two. With the soothing light woods, gently patterned gray carpeting, fresco'd blue and tan walls, and ornate cast iron railings and fixtures illuminated by soft, indirect lighting, you'll know that every ascpect of your dining experience was designed for enjoyment.

A small piano stage accents nearby tables for those wishing to dine by live music. Wrought iron railing and accents compliment the natural wood and fresco finish throughout the restaurant. On Friday and Saturday nights, as well as other special occasions, we offer the live Jazz performances from talented Detroit-area musicians. Drink, eat, talk, listen, and relax.

Our large foyer has an airy feel, thanks to a high ceiling and an open bar to the left of the entrance. Come as you are, or dress up as classy as you like. You will be welcome and comfortable at the Bistro Bourdeau.

The Bistro bar is separate from the Dining area. So come pull your stool up to our ornate bar and enjoy specialty drinks by Ben, dessert, and lively conversation. A smoke-eater air purification system is installed in the bar area. The dining area is smoke-free.
